In 2018, textile artist Lindsay Olson went to sea with CCOM professor Jen Miksis-Olds to learn about ocean acoustics, leading to her artwork series titled “Sound in the Sea." Lindsay will be Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History on World Ocean Day, June 8th, for an “Ask an Expert” event.
