LTJG Jeffrey Douglas has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Alaska Southeast and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Ocean Engineering/Ocean Mapping. After serving as a Non-Commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, he joined the NOAA Corps in 2015. He sailed as a Junior Officer aboard NOAA Ship Fairweather for more than two years conducting hydrographic surveys throughout Alaska.
